Course
Aquila Alternatives a range of social care training courses for any worker or organisation involved in working with children and young people who are vulnerable or who display challenging behaviour.
We ensure our courses are flexible, bespoke and experiential. They are developed and delivered by qualified trainers who are experienced in their field.
Basic Awareness
This level of course is designed to meet the needs of workers who are inexperienced or new to their work with children and young people. The courses provide a comprehensive introduction to the subjects required at Level 3.
Core Skills
This level of course is designed for workers who are experienced at working with vulnerable and challenging children and young people and who wish to develop their knowledge and skills. The courses provide an in depth look at subjects at Level 4.
Management
This level course is designed for managers and aspirant managers who have responsibility for managing services for vulnerable children and young people. The courses provide opportunities for managers to develop their leadership and management skills and to look at social care issues from a management position. These course are run at Level 4/5.
Open Courses
Our open courses offer our standard range of courses on an open basis, providing learners with the additional benefit of training alongside workers from other organisations. The exchange of ideas and the sharing of knowledge and skills significantly enhances the training environment.
NVQs
We offer a range of national recognised qualifications that will equip all workers and managers, working with vulnerable and challenging children and young people, with the qualifications necessary to enhance their career development.
