Social Care Training Courses
Aquila Alternatives are committed to providing high quality training in all areas of the social care of children and young people. We run courses at three levels; for less experienced workers, for more experienced workers and for managers and aspiring managers. We are also happy to develop bespoke training for any organisation.

Basic Awareness level (For new and inexperienced workers)
These courses are designed to underpin the skills, practice and knowledge required to gain the current mandatory Level 3 qualifications, as well as offering the learner a chance to think and reflect about values and attitudes, equality and diversity.
Core Skills Level (For experienced workers)
These courses are designed to underpin the skills, practice and knowledge required to gain a range of Level 4 qualifications, as well as offering a chance for the learner to take an in depth look at values and attitudes and issues of equality and diversity.
Management Level (For new and existing managers)
These courses are designed to underpin the skills, practice and knowledge required for Level 4 Leadership and Management qualifications as well as offering a chance to think about values and attitudes. Management training is recognised as the key to building successful services.
